The family business “Fanex” has existed since the 40s of the 20th century. At the beginning of its history, the atelier specialized in traditional faience and porcelain work. Then, since 1992, when Stéphane Dunoyer joined, decor items made of rock crystal and glass mass appeared in the collection.
Continuing the family tradition, Stéphane brought a romantic mood to the products of the Fanex brand – a musical surprise is hidden in boxes made of Limoges porcelain and crystal, made in the shape of Easter eggs. So, inside a transparent crystal “shell”, a hand-painted porcelain bird froze. One has only to twist it a little and the familiar melody “La vie en rose” will play. Stefan creatively selects musical excerpts for each story: Beethoven’s familiar “Für Elise”, Strauss’ “The Blue Danube”, excerpts from Tchaikovsky’s “The Nutcracker” and the song “Tea for two” from the 1920s musical “No, No, Nanette”.
