At the heart of French art studio Paris Decor works are the traditions of three generations of artists. Today, sisters Agnes and Lucy continue the work, combining their imagination with modernity and classical techniques.
Limoges porcelain caskets and tablets go through a long cycle of processing, including hand-painting, repeated firing in a kiln and the installation of copper fittings.
Each product is signed by the author and in the end does not exceed, depending on the model, 2-9 cm.
Inside some boxes you can find a surprise in the form of a thimble, perfume bottle or photo frame.
The “children’s” collection stands out in particular – blue and pink caskets with the inscriptions “Meches” (“Curls”) and “Dents de lait” (“Milk teeth”), decorated with a porcelain mouse, rocking horse or other touching animal. As well as chests with surprise toys inside.
In addition to caskets, the atelier produces miniature perfume bottles, variously decorated with metal decors, porcelain enamels, real cameos and Swarovski crystals.
The collections of this atelier are presented in Riga for the first time!
