Among the many ways to decorate porcelain, the French atelier Laure Selignac chose the most noble of them: hand-painted Limoges porcelain using relief techniques and 24 carat gold.
Lamps, vases, caskets, jewelry, crockery, inkwells, Easter eggs and piggy banks, photo frames made of Limoges porcelain are painted with lilies of the valley (in France it is a symbol of happiness), butterflies, flowers, exotic birds and other beautiful scenes.
The Laure Selignac brand has been known since 1919, when hand-painted porcelain was considered an indicator of the highest quality craftsmanship. The history of the house today is associated with the name of Alexandra Groussard, who continues the historical tradition of working with porcelain.
The process of creating a porcelain product goes through several stages: from the manufacture of porcelain mass to glazing and painting by hand, each stage is carefully checked for compliance with standards, the finished product is numbered and receives an author’s certificate confirming all the advantages of these items.
Every year atelier Laure Selignac holds a creative competition for artists, and the winning artist’s motif becomes the reason for the creation of a new collection.
You can order any product with the name or initials of the owner, with any wish for the future owner.
French brand Laure Selignac is a member of the honorary association of French enterprises “Living Heritage of France”.
